Russian and CIS banks testify improvement of their credit risk management systems by using Experian-Scorex solutions. On 13th December 2006, Experian-Scorex hosted over 150 chief executive officers and directors of risk and fraud management from the banking and telecommunications sectors in Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan in its third annual Credit Risk Management Seminar in Moscow. The number of attendees to this event has more than doubled since 2004 as well as the geographic areas involved, which shows the growing interest of the financial institutions in the benefits of developing a consistent credit risk policy in Russia and CIS. During the seminar, attendees had the chance to learn more about scoring techniques, how to use a credit bureau and how to prevent fraud in the organisations with Experian-Scorex’s solutions and how the implementation of such tools provides organisations with the necessary data to make the most appropriate decisions and improve the overall credit risk management. Representatives of VTB24, Renaissance Bank and Alfa Bank shared their experience and benefits from the use of such Experian-Scorex’s tools as New Business Strategy Management, Acquire SM, Hunter and decision strategies in SME and mortgage lending. Daniel Zelenski, head of Experian-Scorex in Russia, said: “We are very pleased with the increasing level of interest that our annual seminar is creating.
