| Strategy Management: Roll-out at The Royal bank of Scotland | |||||
The German branch of the Royal Bank of Scotland of Germany adopted the Strategy Management to manage its credit card portfolio in 2005. The solution enables the bank to implement a consistent and efficient lending policy for the acquisition of new customers, tailoring the terms and offers for each individual customer. Following the success of this deployment, the bank extended the solution to the management of credit card portfolios in Austria and to the loan credit business in both Germany and Austria. This new solution has been deployed on a central platform at the bank and integrates a number of different scorecard systems for each market and credit portfolio. "The expansion of the solution for the new regions and portfolios has been our aim right from the start of the project" declared Robert Genz, Managing Director of The Royal Bank of Scotland Germany. "We are working in a dynamic and competitive market environment and therefore need to react quickly and flexibly when it comes to risk management.
